Welcome to our online course, "Breaking down the barriers in inclusive education"! The main aim of this course is to learn together how we can empower our students to learn despite their learning difficulties in an inclusive classroom. In this first module, you will first listen to students explaining how they like to learn. Then we will invite you to reflect on your own teaching experiences with different students. We will next learn about different learning difficulties and how they may be observed in children’s behavior. Building on these perspectives, we will explore what kind of learning strategies are effective and discuss how you can help your students to overcome their learning difficulties. This module also includes a webinar where an expert will explain the benefits of an inclusive education. The completion of this module, including the quiz, is expected to take 6 hours.
