About

Welcome to Module 4! Education nowadays focuses on developing academic skills. But our world is changing. We live in diverse societies, and that is why we must prepare todays’ students for tomorrow’s adults. To create a better world we must, as teachers, be ready to equip students with the skills they need to have better relationships with themselves, others and the world around them. We must cultivate in our students greater emotional intelligence, self-confidence and empathy through game-based learning techniques. In this module you will learn how to use different games and apps while designing fun group activities aimed for middle school students in order to teach them essential life and social skills such as empathy, respect, cooperation, sharing, trust, resilience, responsibility, and much more while playing. This module also includes a webinar where an expert will explain the benefits of using games in the classroom. The completion of this module, including the quiz, is expected to take 6 hours.
